The Scripture Guide uses artificial intelligence to help organize and explain religious texts and traditions. AI-generated responses may contain errors or omissions. When accuracy is important, consult the original scripture and authoritative sources.

What this means in practice

• Live answers are AI-generated. When you type your own question, the response is produced by a large language model that has been instructed to cite only the primary texts of each tradition, to stay neutral, and to say when it is unsure. It can still make mistakes.
• Editorial pages are written and checked by people. The question library, tradition pages and Scripture Explorer do not change between visits, and every citation on them was checked against the linked reference edition.
• Citations should be opened. Each reference links to a public edition. If a live answer gives a reference that does not exist or does not say what the answer claims, the answer is wrong — and we would like to know.
• The Guide is not an authority. It does not speak for any religion, and nothing on this site is a substitute for scripture, scholarship, clergy or community.
